Basic Policy on Customer Harassment

1. Basic Concept

Our company (including group companies; hereinafter the same) strives to sincerely listen to and respond honestly to the opinions of our customers (including readers, users, and business partners; hereinafter the same) in order to deliver high-quality content and services to everyone. On the other hand, we will take a firm stance against unreasonable demands that exceed what is socially reasonable, and against words and actions that harm the dignity of our officers and employees, in order to ensure the safety and healthy working environment of our officers and employees.

2. Definition of Customer Harassment

This refers to customer requests or actions that, in light of the appropriateness of their content, are socially unacceptable in terms of their means and manner, and that harm the working environment of officers and employees or hinder the normal operation of business.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following actions:

  • Physical attacks (assault, battery, etc.)
  • Psychological attacks (threats, insults, abusive language, defamation, character assassination, slander on social media, etc.)
  • Intimidating language and behavior
  • Continuous, persistent behavior
  • Restraining actions (prolonged phone calls, confinement, etc.)
  • Obstruction of eviction (refusal to leave, prolonged stay, etc.)
  • Requests unrelated to goods or services, etc.
  • Providing excessive services or demanding apologies, etc., according to generally accepted social standards.
  • Unjust demands for money

4. Company Response

If any conduct constituting customer harassment is confirmed, we may refuse to provide further service or support without prior notice. Furthermore, if we deem it necessary, we will take strict legal action, including reporting to the police and coordinating with lawyers, etc., to address the issue (including requests for disclosure of the perpetrator's information and filing criminal charges). Within the company, we will also establish a consultation service to provide mental and physical care for affected officers and employees, and will respond in an organized manner.

5. Requests to Customers

We ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding this policy in order to ensure that all our customers can use our services with peace of mind and to continue providing better content and services.
