McDonald's first full-length animated TV commercial based on an original drawing by Tetsuo Hara!

At McDonald's, as new products in the `` Samurai Mac '' series, `` Japanese-style barbecue egg thick beef '' and `` Garlic chopped potato thick beef '' will be released for a limited time from January 2023, 1.Tetsuo Hara drew the original picture for the latest TV commercial starring Masato Sakai!

◇When I drew Sakai-san in samurai costume, I was particularly particular about it.
Basically, I wanted to create a picture that was not a caricature but a worldview of my own manga, but deformed and harmonized so that Mr. Sakai's character could ooze out.However, I had a strong impression when I saw Sakai-san in a TV drama before, so while admiring that there are people who can still show such angry expressions in modern times, I decided to draw a picture that I love and specialize in. I was able to draw and ride ☆

◇Impressions after watching this new commercial "Zetten no Samurai"
It was a dreamlike experience to have Mr. Sakai, who I drew, start to move in an anime, but the animators involved in that process are immeasurable.No matter what I say, I think it's a commercial that has the power of Mr. Sakai who is super first class☆
