Manga department entrance ceremony at Kumamoto Prefectural Takamori High School

On April 4th, an entrance ceremony was held for the first students of the Manga Department at Kumamoto Prefectural Takamori High School, which was established as the first Manga Department at a public high school.

Coamix is ​​working with the Kumamoto Prefectural Board of Education and Takamori Town to promote the establishment of this department.At the entrance ceremony, our company representative, Nobuhiko Horie, also took the stage to give a congratulatory address to the 40 new students and conveyed the importance of being interested in everything, not just manga.

From now on, the students will begin to learn practical manga production, such as how to create characters and divide panels, in an environment where it is not a dream to make a debut while still in school.
