This year, Chiba City is celebrating the 900th anniversary of the birth of Tsunetane Chiba, who is said to be the ancestor of Chiba's Chuko.Along with this, like Mr. Chiba, the Big Dipper is an important key in telling the story, and we will collaborate with "Fist of the North Star", which will celebrate its "35th anniversary" this year!
◆ Purpose / Purpose
Mr. Chiba said that the foundation of the city was laid by Mr. Chiba in the Middle Ages, and that the clan scattered in the territories of the whole country was united under the "Hokushin (Myoken) faith" that worships the North Star and the Big Dipper. We aim to establish the city's urban identity by letting more people know about the history of Chiba.
As the first project, we will broadcast a collaboration design on digital signage at JR Kaihin Makuhari Station, and will continue to develop various projects in the future.

"Tsunetane Chiba" is a military commander who helped Minamoto no Yoritomo and greatly contributed to the establishment of the Kamakura Shogunate.
Due to the achievements of Tsunetane Chiba, he acquired territories in various places from Tohoku to Kyushu.
Mr. Chiba has become one of the leading gokenins in the shogunate.
The territories of the whole country are inherited by descendants, but they worship the North Star and the Big Dipper.
It was strongly united by the Hokushin (Myoken) faith.
