The TV anime "Somali and the Forest God" broadcast in January 2020 has released the anime PV and character group illustrations on the reopened official website.

In addition, the theme song will be decided by Naotaro Moriko.In addition, Ryo Yoshimata is in charge of music (gekitomo). He is a composer who has worked on many masterpiece dramas and movies, including the Okawa drama "Atsuhime". The music producer is Akira Takaoka, who is world-famous for game music such as the "Silent Hill" series.The art director is French creator Niem Vincent.Note creators from various fields will come together to create a world view of "Somali and the Forest God" that depicts the bonds of parents.
This is the first time that Naotaro Mori has written and sang a song for an animated work.I decided to be in charge of the theme song because I was sympathized with the world view and story of the same work.Naotarou Mori's opening theme song "Thank you is this leaf" and Inori Hase (the main character, Somali)'s ending theme "Kokoro Somari" are both original songs inspired by the work. It was announced that Inori Mizuse will also be in charge of writing the lyrics.

I read the original story and tried to make it with the feeling that I would sing as a scene of the story while going back and forth between fantasy and nostalgia. The song "Thank you for this leaf".
The recording was very lively with the feeling that the journey between Somali and Golem was just as it was.

The theme of this time is deep forest, various towns, people's trips, and friendship.Through discussions with the production staff, we created together how to express each scene and appearance in a fictional world view with music. As [Music: Ryo Yoshimata], I would be honored if I could be a part of this work.
In addition, Yu Kobayashi has been selected to play the role of "Kikira", who will be the first friend of the main character, Somali.Mr. Kobayashi commented on this appearance as follows.
